Now based at junction 5 of the M61 on Wigan Road, Bolton, the existing 15-strong team will see their numbers triple by Autumn 2011 as Leapfrog restructures into four unique departments. Each team will be responsible for a different part of the business, focusing on Audio Visual, Information Technology, Communications, and Support and Maintenance respectively.

Founder and Chief Executive of the company, Lee Bevan, who has evolved the brand over the last ten years, will be changing the company name to ‘The Leapfrog Group’ to reflect the expansion and new clearly defined structure of the business.

Commenting on the expansion, Lee Bevan said:

“The business has grown and developed enormously over the past few years and we are now at the stage where we can offer a unified communications service for our clients. We still build bespoke communications solutions for our customers, but where they need that extra support and maintenance, we now provide a support package which enhances the clients’ expectations and can be available whenever our clients need us. With our expansion, we will also be embarking on a recruitment drive to further enhance our existing team of IT and communications experts.”

Having successfully completed the Audio Visual projects at the new Manchester Visitor Information Centre, ‘The Point’ at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Chill Factore and Airkix, Leapfrog has gained a number of new prestige contracts, which they will begin to deliver over the forthcoming months.  The team has already provided IT solutions to companies based overseas and hope to further grow the business both in the UK and abroad over the next few years.
