Leapfrog installed a 12-screen video wall located within the new visitor centre, which includes micro-touch surfaces and fitted audio.
The installation project also includes a four-screen video wall window display and a 12-screen parallel video wall.
The complete project took approximately seven months from start to finish and the new centre, located on Portland Street, opened recently.
The project within the new visitor centre is the latest in a line of high-profile contracts recently completed by the Leapfrog team.
The company has also completed The Point, a new conference and events venue at Lancashire County Cricket Club, where a 12-screen video wall, plus screens in 16 individual conference rooms, have been installed. Leapfrog’s managing director, Lee Bevan, said: “We are delighted that these two projects have now come to fruition and we are incredibly pleased with the results.
“We have installed some of the best technology in the world into these venues, which will undoubtedly attract many visitors and clients bringing their business to the area.”
Leapfrog has also recently finished projects with Chill Factore and Airkix, Manchester’s indoor skydiving experience. The team supplied screens to both of the venues to enable visitors to watch themselves in action.
As a result of the company’s recent successes, the 13-strong team is set to expand in the near future following the company’s move to larger premises on Wigan Road, formerly occupied by Admiral, near Junction 5 of the M61.
